I was born on Easter Sunday, the seventh of eight in a small town in Connecticut. My parents were avid community members and taught us civic responsibility from a young age. As a child, I'm pretty sure I heard "see a need, fill a need," as often as "I love you." But they didn't just teach duty; they taught the joy in service.
I have lived in Highland for 23 years, and I love its open green spaces, welcoming schools, and communities knit together in love and caring. Highland is a place that feels like home from the very moment you arrive.
All of our five children attended Highland schools. During their time at school, I served my community as PTA and PTSA committee memeber, board member, and president. I've seen every side of education: teaching, administration, staff, libraries, and parent involvement.
I've found so much joy serving in our schools. Now I'm stepping up to serve my community as your new school board representitive!
Because I care.
I care deeply about the people in our schools: teachers, staff, administrators, and the students and families at Ridegline, Highland, Freedom, Timberline, Mountain Ridge, and Lone Peak High School.
After 15 years of working with PTA and PTSA at every level, these people aren't just names to me... they're friends.
Each school in Aspen Peaks is filled with people who deserve strong advocacy and a smooth path forward.
I look forward to serving you!
